Bomb hidden in body explodes

A bomb hidden with a dead body has exploded in north Sri Lanka, wounding six people, including four schoolgirls.

The explosion took place near the Government-held town of Vavuniya - on the edge of territory controlled by Tamil rebels.

The body inside the vehicle was identified as one of two Sinhalese men abducted earlier.
