Barack Obama has revealed if he had his way, Hollywood star Will Smith would be cast as him in a movie of the Democratic presidential candidate's life.
"Will and I have talked about the idea of him playing me because he has the same ears as me!" Obama
told US TV show Entertainment Tonight.
"He would be perfect."
In a discussion about actors and movies the Senator named Oscar winners The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II and Lawrence of Arabia as his favourite films.
Obama said his favorite actors were Jimmy Stewart, Spencer Tracy, Humphrey Bogart, Meryl Streep, Susan Sarandon and Angela Bassett.
In an interview last year Smith, a vocal Democrat, joked of his political aspirations, saying: "I always wanted to be the first black president but Barack Obama stole my idea. That's OK with me. Barack can go first and then I'll take my turn."
