Bali nine breaking ranks

Three of the Bali Nine broke ranks with their former bosses and ended their long courtroom silence with pleas of innocence ahead of verdicts in the next few weeks.

Si Yi Chen, Matthew Norman and Tan Duc Thanh Nguyen told the Denpasar District Court they had only been in the wrong place at the wrong time when arrested. "We are sorry for what happened, but we're not guilty," they said.
