The governor of the prison, Siswanto, had confirmed the teenager would be processed at Kerobokan.
"Yes, I've been told that he would come on Sunday. We have to register him,'' Siswanto told AAP.
The boy has been in custody since October 4, when he was arrested after police caught him with 3.6 grams of marijuana, which he later confessed to buying from a dealer on Kuta Beach.
He was sentenced last week to two months in prison, which meant that with the time he has already served in custody he would be released on Sunday.
While the teenager will have completed his sentence on Sunday, it remains unclear when he will travel back to Australia.
Mr Atmaja said immigration officials would decide on the timing of the teenager's deportation.
"When he's to be flown to his country, it will depend on the Australian consulate's readiness and what time the flight ticket he would get,'' he said.
