Australian woman admits to driving without a licence for 23 years

A video of a woman in Australia admitting to never having had a driver's licence is going viral.

The lady was stopped by a traffic policeman as she was driving her deceased husband's car.

When the officer asked her for her driver's licence she said she didn't have one.

He then suggested she gets a licence before going in front of a judge.

She explained she is in the process of transferring the car to her name and apologised before breaking into laughter.

She asked why the policeman pulled her over and he says "because your husband didn't have a licence either".

The exchange became funnier when the woman jokingly asked the cop if he wanted her to "dig him up to come do the licence".

At this point both the woman and the police officer cracked up laughing.

She goes on to admit that in "23 years driving without a licence", this was the first time anyone pulled her over.

"You're such a good constable," she tells the cop.

"No accident, nothing," she adds, proudly.

The police officer, who's been doing highway patrol for more than four years, was lost for words.

"I don't even know what to say."

A clip from the TV show was shared on Facebook yesterday and it has already been viewed more than 90,000 times.
