A digger had his World War II medals stolen from the Indian Pacific Overland train during a trip from Perth to Adelaide.
Police believe the medals, with the surname Ward, were stolen when the train stopped at Port Augusta on April 2.
The medals include an Australian Military Medal, 1939-45 Star, Pacific Star, Australian Medal 1939-45 and the Australian Service Medal.
