Aussie thief caught napping

ADELAIDE - A thief has been caught napping on the job, South Australian police say.

A 27-year-old man was found asleep in the driver's seat of a stolen Ford Laser at about 10am local time yesterday.

The car was stolen from a western Adelaide house and when found by police had stolen registration plates on it.

The snoozing thief has been charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession.
