A NSW couple allegedly imprisoned a man for six months and forced him to do household chores.
The pair are to be charged with holding another man against his will.
The 46-year-old woman and 41-year-old man were charged in August, with police alleging a 26-year-old man was held captive, forced
into a child's cubby house, beaten and made to do jobs around the house.
It's alleged the man lost almost half his body weight during the ordeal, falling from 70kg to 40kg, after he moved into the property in Gormans Hill, near Bathurst in central western NSW as a lodger in February this year.
Doctors who examined him on August 10 allegedly found he had suffered spinal, jaw and rib fractures as well as a punctured lung.
The couple, who are being held in custody, are due to appear at Bathurst Local Court on Monday where police say additional charges will be laid.
It's alleged a man, then aged 18, was held in a similar way at the same address between 2007 and 2009.
The woman will be charged with taking and detaining a person in company with intent to obtain advantage, occasioning actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm by an unlawful act, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, police say.
The man will be charged with one count of detaining a person for advantage.
The charges are in addition to the combined 27 charges the couple already face over the 26-year-old, including taking or detaining in company with intent to obtain advantage, and recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.
