A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck south of Tonga on Sunday.
The quake struck at 7.16pm, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
There have been no reports of a tsunami threat at this stage.
The quake was at a depth of 40 kilometres, said EMSC .
