12-year-old goes on 70km joyride

A 12-year-old boy took his grandmother's car on a 70km joyride along a busy Victorian highway and no-one stopped him - even when he filled up with petrol.

The youngster took the car from Violet Town, in northern Victoria, and set off along the Hume freeway. He was stopped only when police called him on a mobile phone and asked him to pull over.
