A man whose cellphone was used by a burglar to call his victims and complain about the quality of their belongings has received a suspended jail sentence and a final warning.
Stuart Robert McPherson, aged 20, had acted as the burglar's lookout.
The burglar used McPherson's cellphone to make several calls to the victims of the burglary and berate them for having "crap" belongings.
In the Christchurch District Court yesterday, Judge Stephen Erber said McPherson was "worth a last chance."
