Wairarapa teams are being offered the chance to participate in the 2012 New Zealand Junior Rugby festival to be held in Taupo on September 22 and 23 and Queenstown on October 29 and 30.
A touring South African under-13 side from Cape Town has joined a host of Kiwi clubs who have already confirmed their entries.
Organiser Tyrone Campbell says spots remain open for at least a couple of Wairarapa sides.
Campbell stresses the JRF is for all kids playing junior rugby, not only representative players.
"The tournament is not just about winning and losing, it's about the whole experience. The camaraderie, singing, laughing and ribbing that takes place on the bus trip, rooming with your teammates and having the time of their lives; it's just a good old-fashioned rugby tour."
