Internationally-renowned Kiwi hard rockers The Datsuns aim to melt the winter malaise with a nationwide tour that includes a show at King Street Live in Masterton.
It is the first nationwide tour for the band since 2009 and coincides with the release to radio of their foot-stomper single Bullseye - a track taken from their latest album Death Rattle Boogie.
It is the fifth studio album from The Datsuns and music critics have heralded it as their best to date and "an album par excellence".
Since the album release in late 2012, the band has toured Europe where they recorded a special for German television.
The band also completed a handful of New Zealand dates and promised it would not be their last visit home.
The Datsuns play King Street Live on September 7 and advance tickets cost $30 each. Tickets for the Masterton show went on sale yesterday and are available through dashtickets.co.nz
