Writer becomes guide through India

If you have put visiting India in the too-hard basket, a new tour escorted by travel writer Heather Ramsay and her husband could appeal.

The 24-day tour visits the Taj Mahal, then takes in the sights of Rajasthan. A highlight is the Pushkar Camel Fair and associated full moon festival. Transport is by private bus and accommodation is in comfortable mid-range hotels.

Three nights in Bangkok with a side-trip to the Bridge on the River Kwai are included in the cost of $6750 a person twin share.
