1: Rising Can 2015

Next Saturday kicks off with a celebration of good food, music and canned beer from craft brewers Garage Project, Three Boys, Good George, Hot Water Brewing Co and more, with soul-powered funk from Hipstamatics.

Saturday November 21, 2-7pm. Sea Breeze Holiday Park, 1043 Tairua-Whitianga Rd, Hot Water Beach.

2: Hahei Market Day

A free family event to raise funds for the community library, with over 120 stalls of produce craft, and more.

January 5, Kotare Domain, Pa Road, Hahei.

3: Mercury Bay Seaside Carnival

The annual fundraiser for the Area School, with all the great stalls, rides, games, food and more you'd expect in a country community.

Jan 8, Buffalo Beach Reserve, Whitianga.

4: Cooks Beach Summer Gala

This one is for Whenuakite School, with great country stalls. Catch the Whitianga Ferry from Whitianga to Ferry Landing to make a day of it.

January 4, 9am-3pm. Central Reserve, Cooks Beach.

5: Coroglen Farmers' Market

Every Sunday through the summer this has the best of local organic produce, home made goodies and crafts.

Sundays, 9.30am-1pm, Gumtown Hall, Tairua.
