Whangarei gardens open for viewing

Whangarei's avid gardeners are nurturing their blooms in the weeks before the three-day Whangarei Garden Discovery.

Held over November 15, 16 and 17, the city's 23 most beautiful gardens will open to the public with transport provided for those who want to visit several gardens.

Funds raised from ticket sales go to the Northland Rescue Helicopter Trust.
