You'll learn how they cast sticky nets to catch midges, and you'll also get a closer look at the botanic garden's tree ferns, rimu, epiphytes, rātā and eels. Wear good shoes and bring a torch; children welcome if accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Ōtari Information Centre, 160 Wilton Rd, Wilton, Wellington, Friday July 20, 7pm-8pm.
