A couple was left fearing for their lives after the rope suspending them from a parachute more than a hundred metres in the air, snapped.
The couple, from Junagadh, a city in the west Indian state of Gudjarat, decided to book in for a parasailing ride in the coastal townof Diu.
A video of the couple on their parasailing experience went viral on social media, showing the moment the rope snapped, leading to the couple and the workers on the boat screaming out in terror.
According to The Times of India, Ajit Kathad and his wife Sarla were parasailing off the coast of Nagoa beach in Diu on Sunday when the incident occurred.
Just minutes into the ride, the rope of their parachute snapped, flicking high into the air.
Luckily, neither of them were injured and thanks to their lifejackets, they were able to float in the ocean until lifeguards at the beach rescued them.

The lifeguards that came to rescue the couple were from Palms Adventure and Motorsports, the same company that was running the parasailing service.
The screams in the video were from Aji Kathad's older brother Rakesh, who was filming the couple from the power boat where they were being towed.
"I was recording the video and had no idea what to do when the rope broke. I could see my brother and sister-in-law falling from a great height, and I never felt so helpless as I did at that moment," Rakesh, told Times of India.
He then sent the nail-biting video to Rahul Dharecha, who shared the horrifying footage to Twitter.
