Wanaka at war during aerial action extravaganza

For three days over Easter, Lake Wanaka hosts an extravaganza of aerial action during the Warbirds Over Wanaka international airshow. From April 14-16, some of the world's most famous warbirds join forces with the classic aircraft of yesteryear and the modern jets of today. Military vehicles, vintage machinery, classic fire engines, an aviation trade expo and a flyers' market complete the spectacular line-up.
