Hamilton celebrates Waitangi Day on Sunday with a free multicultural family day of entertainment that also commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. It will be held on Innes Common and starts with a powhiri, followed by entertainment, food and craft stalls, and a waka ceremony. It runs 7am-5pm.
