Waipu welcomes you

As you enter the village of Waipu in Northland, a sign reads Ceud Mile Failte: A hundred thousand welcomes. The welcome will be warmer this winter as the Celtic heart of Bream Bay warms up with Winter@Waipu. This festival takes place June 1-August 30 and features market days, golf tournaments, poetry and drama events, an open day on a local marae and Scottish country dancing.
