Visit Eastwoodhill's prized forest

Beautiful Eastwoodhill Arboretum near Gisborne has been named the National Arboretum of New Zealand.

Established more than 30 years ago, it boasts a wonderful collection of mature trees.

Facilities include accommodation, function catering, tours, and walking tracks suitable for all levels of fitness.

It's open daily (except Christmas and Good Friday) 9am-4.30pm with some seasonal variation.

Entry is $10 (adults), $8 (seniors), children free with paying adult.
