Travel through Coromandel's tunnels and spirals

Coromandel's narrow-gauge Driving Creek Railway negotiates a series of spirals, tunnels and viaducts through regenerating bush before arriving at the ridge-top terminus called the Eyefull Tower.

The view encompasses a forested valley, the Hauraki Gulf, and the rugged mountains behind. Visitors can tour the on-site pottery and brickworks, and browse through the craft shop.

Trips depart at 10.15am and 2pm daily throughout the year.

Fares are $17 (adults) $9 (children up to 15 years); $42 (2 adults & 2 children).
