"I was just wondering whether kids are allowed to fly business class by themself (sic)? I am saving my pocket money to get an upgrade on our flight: MEL-BKK on your Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
"So far I have saved $85, how much more do I need to save?
"Yours sincerely, Jasper."
The note, sent in an aptly decorated envelope, touched the hearts of 20 Jetstar staff members who pooled together the $50 Christmas gift vouchers they each received at Christmas to make his dream come true.
While Jasper can't fly on his own in business class, the donations will allow him and his dad to be upgraded to business class on their flight to Bangkok in June.
An extra nice touch.
And that's not all — the young aviation enthusiast and his family were invited on a tour of Jetstar's Boeing 787 Dreamliners on the weekend, where he got to meet the flight crew and have a sit in the pilot's seat in the cockpit.
Jasper's parents told Nine's Today show he has always been fascinated by planes — and wondered what it was like in business class.
"Jasper's always wanted to travel business class, and every time we go to an airport he'll go up to the reservation desk and ask them if he can be upgraded to business class," mum Anna Francis said.
Jasper got a full tour of a Jetstar Dreamliner and got to hang out with the flight crew.
Jasper said he wanted to be a pilot some day and loved the experience of being in the sky.
"I just feel like I'm on top of everything, looking at the beautiful views down below," he told Today.
