Scary movie fans will be screaming at the chance to stay in a legendary piece of horror history.
The Last Chance Gas Station, as seen in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, is being transformed into a barbecue restaurant and hotel.
Ohio businessman Roy Rose has joined forces with AriLehman - who played Jason Voorhees in the first Friday the 13th film - to transform the building into a pilgrimage for horror fans, Kxan reported.
"We're going to build a horror barbecue resort," Rose said. "We're going to put cabins in the back for all the fans who want to come and stay the night."
The resort will also offer an outdoor stage for concerts and a shop specialising in horror memorabilia.
Despite the scary subject matter of the film and the slightly dubious thought of what might be cooked on the barbeque, Rose says it's a welcoming spot for anyone passing through Bastrop County, Texas.
"It'll be a safe, and fun and scary place for families and everybody to come and have a good time," he said.
While the site is still under construction, a "We Slaughter Barbeque" sign has been erected and Rose hopes to open in July.
