Sharks on show in Vegas

Neon lights, roulette tables and pokie machines are not the only attractions along the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Lurking sharks are in abundance - real ones that make up a collection of 2000 animals on display in 1.6 million gallons of water at the Shark Reef Aquarium.

Visitors can journey through an ancient temple that is slowly being claimed by the sea. More than a million people have been to see the 100 species on display in the aquarium at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Shark Reef is also home to a python exhibition and the only golden crocodile exhibition outside Thailand.
