The 135th Waipu Highland Games are at Caledonian Park in Waipu on January 2.
Gates open at 9am, with the March of the Clans and highland dancing and piping competitions starting at 9.30am.
Throughout the day there'll be parades, massed bands, and traditional competitions for all ages.
