Sail on Phantom in the Bay of Islands

Former racing yacht Phantom leaves from Russell in the Bay of Islands at 10 most mornings to explore the region's islands and quiet bays. Owners Rick and Robin Blomfield say the 50-foot boat loves to go fast, comfortably, in any conditions.

For $70 each and $30 a child, visitors can spend a day sailing with the Blomfields on the yacht that is also their home and be treated to a freshly prepared lunch.
