Remarkables skifield getting new conveyor lift

The Remarkables skifield in Queenstown will soon install a new enclosed conveyor lift for their learner slopes.

The Slinky-style Perspex engineered tube is currently being shipped in several parts from Germany to Queenstown and is expected to arrive in time for the season beginning June 10.

As the tube is transparent, learners and kids can stay well protected from the weather and still watch the action outisde, while a double conveyor will mean quicker transport to the top of the slope.
