A person has been slammed by thousands on social media after their "disgusting" act on a plane was shared on a passenger shaming page.
On a flight, a group of people thought it was a brilliant idea to hang their togs over headrests on empty plane seats.
An Instagram page called Passengers Shaming, which has more than 800,000 followers, shared a photo of the bathing suits, captioning it: "PRO TRAVEL TIP: If you have a wet bathing suit, or three - AIRPLANE HEADREST DRYER."
The post, which has more then 3000 likes, has caused controversy, with some complaining they would have made the plane smell of chlorine or even potentially urine.
"The act alone is awful ... but that guy sitting there, is that his laundry or is he just ok with someone's dirty crotch swimsuit hanging over his tray table? I'd throw it on the floor over and over," one person wrote.
Another said: Disgusting, make sure you bring wet wipes so you can clean off your seat before you sit in it.
However, some saw no issue with their togs hanging out on seats.
"It's a pretty empty flight. Looks like no one sitting in the row being used for laundry," one person said in their defence.
A second person joked that at least it was better than them hanging a "dirty diaper" over the top of the seat.
