My seat: I opted to wait until the last minute to board only to find someone in my window seat (13F) when boarding the plane. Thenervous passenger said she preferred the window seat so I offered to take the aisle seat instead - which I actually really enjoyed. The cabin crew are always on hand to take note and make sure The Works is delivered to the right seat.
How full: A full plane.
Fellow Passengers: Mostly adults, and also a couple of families with young children.
Food and Drink: Cold, fresh water was served within the first 30 minutes. Then food, and two more rounds of drinks after that. I felt very well hydrated.
Service: Attentive and helpful staff
Toilets: Clean and tidy, the Antipodes soap was a nice touch.
Luggage: 23kg check in bag included in The Works and I was able to take my laptop and hand luggage.
Airport experience: Brisbane airport has a good choice of restaurants and cafes, but is lacking in high street fashion shops. Check-in was nice and empty when I arrived at 5.30am, and it was easy going through security.
Would I fly again: Yes, Air New Zealand would be my preferred airline, having taken three of their flights over a four-day period, they were consistently reliable, which is always a bonus.
