What's the best travel tip you've been given?
Rise at sunrise to have the best attractions all to yourself. You can avoid crowds and have a better opportunity to interact with the locals. It's also a magical time for photos due to soft, diffused light.
What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling?
In Cape Town, South Africa, I had the most amazing seafood platter I've ever had in my life. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
A T-shirt for my sister. It was from the Eiffel Tower. That might not seem like much on the surface, but my sister has always wanted to visit there, so I brought the Eiffel Tower to her, and that was special.
Favourite airport at which to land?
Miami International Airport - it just gives me a nice vibe that good times are ahead.
What's the next trip you have planned?
Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. It will be my first time there, and I'm very excited. Almost excited as I am to come and entertain the great people of NZ with the Harlem Globetrotters.
