What was your greatest holiday?

My wife Adine and I went on a tour around Greece, Italy, France and Spain for a month, it was pretty special.

And the worst?

I've never had a bad holiday, I've always come home with some great memories and experiences.

If we bump into you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?

In the old days, before kids, I'd be running around the streets with Adine, these days, I'm running around the streets after our kids.

If we could teleport you to one place in New Zealand for a week-long holiday, where would it be?

It would have to be Queenstown, there's so much to do for young and old.

How about for a dream holiday internationally?

The Greek Island Hydra in summer. There's warm water, late sunsets and the odd mojito.

What's the dumbest thing you've ever done when travelling?

I purchased a full-length black leather jacket when I was in Venice. I've worn it twice in 15 years.

... my headphones, everyone loves their own sounds when travelling.

What's the best travel tip you've ever been given?

I'm quite a "be prepared" type of guy, and it helps not to forget your passport.

What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling?

Hot chocolate pastries for breakfast in Calella de Palafrugell on the Spanish coast.

What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?

A new experience, it might sound cheesy, but it's what I see and do that I remember the most.

Favourite airport at which to land?

The next airport - I genuinely love getting on the plane to anywhere, whether it's going home or abroad. I can't wait until the next trip.

What's the next trip you've got planned?

Off to Fiji with some friends and family to celebrate our 10 years of wedded bliss.
