Mile-high frisk caught on camera

The unsuspecting couple didn't know their hook-up was being recorded.

If you're going to do it, don't get caught.

One couple wasn't so discreet when they were seen fooling around together inside a bathroom on a Virgin Atlantic flight, with the cheeky rendezvous caught on camera.

Footage taken by a passenger seated nearby shows the lovers sheepishly leaving the bathroom one after another on the July 4 flight from London Heathrow to Miami.

The woman is the first to leave the bathroom, quickly closing the door behind her while trying to keep a straight face so as to not alert her fellow flyers of the shenanigans.
Her partner, however, has a very cheeky grin on his face and leaves soon after.

Although it's unclear what exactly went on in the bathroom, the footage shot by British passenger David Eve quickly went viral.

"Wait, was, wasn't there just two people in there? Naughty Americans! #milehighclub," Eve posted on Facebook.

Eve can be seen having a chuckle and pulling faces throughout the video.

The video has since been viewed more than 6.4 million times on Facebook at the time of writing.

Some viewers wondered whether the woman's swift exit was due to disappointment.
"The look of disappointment is real!" Katrina Greig commented.

The Facebook page for Virgin Atlantic also commented on the video poking fun at the encounter: "We're pretty sure that's our plane! The mood lighting certainly put a smile on their faces #smilehighclub"

The couple in question have yet to comment on the encounter.
