Light up your life

Beautiful by day and a fairyland by night - that's New Plymouth's Pukekura Park, which lights up for the annual Festival of Lights on December 8.

The long-running event is popular with families, and this year it promises to be bigger and brighter than ever.

Innovative, imaginative lighting features are planned, and this year the programme combines Daytime Delights and Music in the Park, meaning that there'll be activities and entertainment throughout the day and night, most of it free.

The Festival of Lights runs until February 8, next year.
