Light. Whenever possible, I try to keep to cabin luggage.
Cattle or first class?
Cattle most of the time. Leaves more money to find great restaurants.

Passport and wallet. Everything else can be resolved.
What's always in
your hand luggage?
My itinerary and enough to survive a few days if my other luggage disappears.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
My wife, after a trip to Gwinganna Health Retreat in Australia. And many ideas for Ellerslie after visiting other major racing events around the world.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Nadi and Savusavu. You know you are on holiday when you land there as the Fijian culture is infectious. Also Melbourne during Cup Week.
Best travel tip?
Ear plugs are great to drown out background noise, plus set your watch for arrival time upon getting on the plane so your mind can adjust to the local time while flying.
Most memorable trip?
The Orient Express from Venice to Vienna. After a great few days in Venice I popped the question to my wife Libby as we rolled our way between Italy and Austria, on board the most wonderful train journey you can experience.
