A yellow submarine Take a virtual dive in a yellow submarine in the Journey to the Abyss exhibit at the NZ Marine Studies Centre & Aquarium in Dunedin. Open daily noon to 4.30pm. Admission is $18 (family), $9 (adult), $4.50 (child).
Worth the walk Mangonui is the start of a 5km fun run/walk on September 14. The route finishes at Coopers Beach. There'll be spot prizes and a free bus back to Mangonui.
