Highland wedding fling

Pop star Madonna's wedding has brought popularity to the Scottish Highlands after she married film director Guy Ritchie in the 19th-century Skibo Castle, a luxurious hotel in the far north.

The Scottish Tourist Board is getting up to 30 calls a day from people wanting to know how to go about arranging a castle wedding. A website has been established to advise people www.highland-wedding.com and the board has also produced a leaflet called Getting Married in Scotland and a brochure, Stay in a Castle.
