Hi-jinx in Hunterville

What exactly is a shemozzle? If you want to find out, head to the Hunterville Huntaway Festival for the Shepherd's Shemozzle on Saturday October 29. Men, women and dogs should go prepared for obstacles such as hills, slippery slopes, eels, bandages, and a food stop featuring cream, sheep eyes, and worms.

This fun day out in a friendly country town includes a shemozzle for kids, a dog barking competition, pig yarding, speed shearing, wine tasting and other activities and entertainment. It starts at noon at Hunterville, Rangitikei district, on SH1.
