Great lake bike ride

Cyclists have until Saturday to enter the popular Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge scheduled for November 26.

This fun, non-competitive bike ride covers 160km around our largest lake and participants can choose from six challenges.

There's the 160km challenge, which includes tandem riders, a 160km relay for two, three or four riders, a 320km, twice round the lake Enduro, and a 500km Super Enduro.

A 160km Classic Race is for elite riders and younger riders have a 5km Heart Ride.
