Cuisine and culture Gourmet travellers can immerse themselves in Vietnamese cuisine on a 15-day Hanoi to Saigon tour.

Intrepid Small Group Adventures in Asia says the trip aims to give a strong understanding of Vietnamese history and culture.

Highlights include the imperial city of Hue, the village atmosphere of Hoi An, the beaches and islands of Nha Trang and the remarkable river-life of the Mekong Delta.

The cost is $2817 a person, with departures on August 26, September 16 or 30 and October 21. Accommodation is in a tourist-class hotel for 13 nights and a simple homestay for one night.
