Gardens galore on Northland tour

Lush sub-tropical plants take centre-stage for a Northland sub-tropical gardens tour in April.

Led by gardening and sub-tropical plant enthusiast Phillip Millar, the tour is limited to 25 people. Gardens and tourist attractions on the itinerary are scattered around the area, from Matakohe and Dargaville to the Hokianga Harbour region, the Bay of Islands, Tutukaka and Whangarei.

Transport is by modern touring coach. Accommodation and most meals are included in the cost of $969 a person, twin-share. A single supplement is $299.

The tour leaves Auckland on April 7, returning on April 12.
