Ritual battle, human sacrifice, the supernatural and the afterlife are some of the themes of Gold & Sacrifice: Treasures of Ancient Peru, on display at the Auckland Museum from Friday until September 21.
Peruvian band Tumi will perform traditional songs on the Saturday from 3pm in the Manaia Room.
