Four-star deal on Wellington hotel

The first four-star hotel to open in Wellington in 15 years is enticing visitors to spend a weekend with a special deal - and it's available every weekend until the end of next year.

With a restaurant named The Caucus (a reference to Parliament, just a few minutes walk away), the Novotel Capital has 139 rooms and is set on The Terrace in downtown Wellington.

Health-conscious guests can dine on food from the Harvard Good Health Programme - exclusive to Novotel in New Zealand. There's also a gym.

The weekend special is $141 plus GST a night for a room. Breakfast for two adults is included in the price, though the rooms can accommodate up to three people.
