Soon to claim the title of the largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean's Symphony of the Seas boasts some exciting new features that are sure to please the younger members of the family.
The recently revealed features include a two-level "Ultimate Family Suite", that can house a familyof eight, complete with a kid's-only bedroom with a slide to the living room below.

To keep them further occupied, there's also a floor-to-ceiling Lego wall and an air hockey table, as well as a 3D movie theatre-style TV room, complete with popcorn machine and a library of video games.
And if those novelties weren't enough, the balcony includes a bumper pool table, a climbing experience and a full-sized whirlpool with ocean views.

Overtaking sister ship Harmony of the Seas in the size stakes, Symphony shares some features with her predecessor - including a ten story waterslide, an aquatic amphitheatre, two FlowRider surf simulators, a zip line, two rock climbing walls, a 1400 seat theatre for live shows and movies and the Bionic Bar with robot bartenders.
Other new features across the ship include glow in the dark laser tag, an epic candy and ice cream store and a sports bar and video game arcade serving craft beer, hot wings and burgers.

Royal Caribbean has also introduced mobile check-in, where guests can check in using a mobile app and upload a selfie to create an on-board account from home, and says this will make the boarding process "fast and frictionless".
Currently under construction in France, Symphony of the Seas will debut in April 2018 for her inaugural season in Europe.
