Fancy the Falklands?

Adventurous New Zealanders could save $US500 ($1078) exploring Antarctica, the Falkland Islands and South Georgia over Christmas if they pay their travel deposit by September 30. They will travel on Abercrombie & Kent's expedition ship Explorer. Passengers who book category 1 or 2 cabins receive a further 50 per cent discount on the return charter flight from Santiago to Port Stanley, a saving of $US687 a person. Those booking categories 4, 5 or 6 receive their charter flight free.

The cruise begins on December 8, and the cruise-only price is from $US8598 plus port taxes.
