From art nouveau to postmodern to funky to Egyptian, the public rooms on Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship, the Carnival Spirit, celebrate a wide variety of architectural styles in their design.
The 80,285-tonne, 2124-passenger Carnival Spirit makes its maiden voyage next month to Alaskan waters, followed by a winter programmeof eight-day Caribbean cruises from Miami. The ship includes a chapel with stained-glass windows that portray Old Testament scenes.
