Once in a blue moon, the Gulf Harbour Country Club on Whangaparaoa Peninsula opens its doors to non-members who appreciate sumptuous dining and are partial to an optional round of golf.
The club's private restaurant will serve an early Christmas dinner on December 14, where guests can enjoy spectacular views overthe golf course.
Walking off the meal around the greens costs $79 a person, including cart hire, and rental equipment is available. The Christmas dinner is $38 a person. Bookings are essential.
