Christchurch heritage week

The Carter Group Heritage Week runs October 7-14, and celebrates the architectural, social and environmental heritage of Christchurch.

Events include guest speakers, open days, seminars, exhibitions and guided tours and walks.

For anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the heritage experience, historic Huntley House is offering a special rate starting at $295 (plus GST) a room a night (maximum 2 people).

It's for a minimum two-night stay, and includes breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

On Monday October 10 at 11.30am, guests and visitors can join a guided tour of this restored heritage property.
