Canal cruising in luxury

Cruising the waterways of France or Scotland in a luxury hotel-style barge will cost around $1000 less in July and August, with a special offer from Abercrombie & Kent.

An English-speaking crew of eight caters to the needs of each guest, providing gourmet meals, fine wines and spirits. A maximum of 22 passengers stay in comfortable, private cabins, each with their own bathrooms and outside-facing windows.

The special rate is $4093 and includes twin-share accommodation for a six-night cruise with transfers, excursions, meals and the open bar.

This special applies to barge tours on Abercrombie between July 21 and August 24 or aboard Lafayette between July 28 and August 31.
